I actually like to think I'm not demanding as far as girlfriends go. Why is it that girlfriends/wives are considered "ball and chains", "shackles", "old ladies" and such? I don't think boyfriends/husbands have such stigma connected to them. It doesn't seem fair.

Anyway, the resemblance of the characters in this strip to any living peoples is strictly coincidental. I have not used anyone yet as models for my characters. I don't want anyone thinking the unusually ugly friend of Craigs is someone I personally know.

Hi, thank you for reading my blog. Anyway I've received a comment/question about the program I use to make my comics and the artwork on this site. It is Adobe Illustrator CS. I do everything digitally so I don't have to hand draw or scan anything. It's convinient because there is no other processing after the comic is done, I can do all the text by typing as opposed to hand writing, and altering things is so easy since I don't have to redraw anything. My main drawback is that it doesn't have that "hand drawn" quality I really love in most comics. Hopefully one day I'll be able to figure out how to make the line quality more natural, but for now it's the way it is.

I've been doing comics for a while now. I started when I was in elementary school, creating stories in the margins of my composition notebooks and drawing Garfield. Then I did a few series of comics for my college newspaper while I was working towards my Bachelor's of Arts degree. I really love doing comics and would love to be syndicated one day, but for now I have a steady job that I really love and am dedicated to so that gets most of my attention.
